MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University women's tennis team completed an undefeated Landmark Conference (LC) regular season with an 8-1 victory over Catholic University on Sunday at the Drew Tennis Complex on Senior Day.
The Rangers (10-8, 7-0 LC) won their eighth match in a row while notching their first undefeated conference regular season since going 7-0 in 2016-17. Drew also posted a perfect Landmark record in 2009-10 and were unblemished twice in the Middle Atlantic Conference (2003-04, 1990-91).
Prior to the start of the match, the team's senior class was honored in a brief ceremony.
The Rangers jumped to a 3-0 lead after sweeping the doubles competition. Sophomore

Mary Kalorin teamed up for an 8-0 victory at No. 1 as the pair improved to 6-1 in Landmark action. Junior

Kate Gangi won 8-4 at No. 2 while freshman

Danielle DelRosso stayed undefeated (7-0) versus conference foes with an 8-0 win.
Drew went on to win at second through sixth singles, with all five players winning in straight sets. Four Rangers - Kalorin, Bloemendaal, DelRosso, and Gangi - finished undefeated in Landmark play for the season.
Kalorin won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 while Bloemendaal posted a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 3. Sophomore
Taylor Dombalis recorded a 6-4, 6-0 triumph at No. 4 while DelRosso was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at No. 5. Gangi was a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 6.
The Rangers will now take eight days off from competition before hosting a Landmark Conference semifinal match on Tuesday, May 3 versus an opponent to be determined.
