MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University field hockey team will host a postseason game for the first time since 2013 when it faces Wilkes University on Saturday in the first round of the Landmark Conference Championships.

The Rangers (13-5, 5-4 LC) earned the No. 4 seed in the tournament while the Colonels (9-9, 4-5 LC) captured the No. 5 seed.

Tickets for the game may be purchased in advance through HomeTown Ticketing HERE. Ticket prices are $11 for adults, $6 and for minors (age 10-17), and free for children under 10 and all Landmark Conference students, faculty, and staff with a valid school ID.

The winner of the game will advance to the tournament semifinals and visit top-seeded University of Scranton on Tuesday. The championship game will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8. The higher-seeded team will serve as the host throughout the playoffs.

In the other first-round matchup, No. 3-seeded Elizabethtown College will host No. 6 seed Lycoming College. The winner will take on No. 2-seeded Susquehanna University in the semifinals.

Under fourth-year Head Coach Summer Kortmann, the Rangers have posted their highest overall and conference victory totals since the 2013 squad finished 16-4 and 6-0 in conference play. Saturday's game will mark Drew's first postseason contest in Ranger Stadium since a 4-3 overtime loss to Alvernia in the quarterfinals of the 2013 ECAC Championships. The Rangers will also be playing their first Landmark Conference tournament game at home since a 3-2 OT loss to Scranton in the 2013 semifinals.

Drew is making its eighth appearance in the Landmark Conference Championships and is seeking its first conference playoff victory since a 2-1 overtime win over Scranton at Catholic in the 2012 semifinals.

Offensively, the Rangers have been paced by freshman Bella Fini, who has accumulated team-leading totals of 14 goals, five assists, and 33 points. Sophomore Emily Caporrino has added 11 goals and four assists while senior Chandler Straub (seven goals, four assists) and junior Liriana Seferovic (seven goals, one assist) round out the team's top-four scorers.

In goal, junior Beth Kelly has played all but 38 minutes between the pipes for the Rangers, posting a 2.32 goals-against average and a .756 save percentage along with three shutouts.
