TOWSON, Md. – Emily Camlet been selected as the Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year for women's indoor track & field, conference officials announced on Thursday.
The Landmark Conference selects 23 senior scholar-athletes each year to recognize the top student-athlete in each sport based on academics and athletics. The honorees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 and are selected by a committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors, senior woman administrators, faculty athletic representatives, athletic communications directors, and diversity, ethnicity, and inclusion designees.
Camlet becomes Drew's first-ever Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year in track & field (men's or women's). Drew added track & field as a varsity sport in 2023-24.
Camlet has been a standout performer at Drew, balancing academics with standout athletics. She is pursuing a double major in Italian and Statistics with a minor in Dance, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA while excelling in multiple sports.
Over the last three years, Camlet has been a dominant presence on the indoor circuit, earning four All-Landmark Conference selections and winning three conference championships in the 400 meters. She also earned All-Region recognition in the 400 in 2025, when she qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in the 400. Camlet is competing in the 2026 NCAA Championships in the same event this year after finishing the season ranked No. 11 on the Division III performance list.
Camlet has also been a standout on the outdoor oval, where she is a two-time All-Region honoree, a three-time All-Landmark Conference selection, and the Landmark Conference 400 champion in 2025. She also broke the Landmark Conference and championship meet record in the 400 (55.61) in 2025.

In the classroom, Camlet is a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree, has earned multiple Landmark Academic Honor Roll recognitions, and is a Francis Asbury Scholar, Drew University's top academic award. She is also a member of Chi Alpha Sigma, Pi Mu Epsilon, and Gamma Kappa Alpha, making the Dean's List every semester.
