All-Landmark Conference Men's Golf Team

TOWSON, Md. – After a record-setting showing at the Landmark Conference Championships, the Drew University men's golf was well-represented on the All-Landmark Conference Men's Golf Team.

Senior Elliot Parker was recognized as the Landmark Conference Men's Golf Player of the Year for the second time in his career while earning a spot on the All-Landmark Conference First Team for the fourth time.

Drew's four other competitors at the Landmark Conference Championships also captured a spot on the all-conference team, with juniors Avery Cohen and Thomas Hurley joining Parker with first-team recognition for finishing in first through sixth place. Sophomore Sam Dolan landed a spot on the second team by virtue of his seventh through 12th-place finish, and senior Shiv Bhaskar garnered honorable mention for placing between 13th and 16th place.
Also, Head Coach Lucas Artigliere and the coaching staff were honored as the Coaching Staff of the Year after helping the Rangers to their second straight Landmark Conference title with a 25-stroke victory at the conference championship. The Rangers fired a school-record, 5-under-par 283 on the second and final round of the tournament and finished with a 36-hole score of 584. Drew posted the lowest scores in Landmark Conference Championship history for both 18 and 36 holes.

Parker won his second career conference title, firing an incredible 66 (-6) in the second round after opening with a 72 to finish with a 6-under 138, winning the tournament by six strokes. He becomes just the second player to win two Landmark Conference men's golf titles, joining Artigliere, who captured victories in 2019 and 2022. Parker's second-round score of 66 was just one shy of his own school record set on Sept. 11, 2023 at The Gauntlet.

For the season, Parker has averaged a 71.5 over 10 events and 21 rounds while capturing medalist honors five times.

Cohen earned All-Landmark Conference honors for the second year in a row after capturing second-team recognition last season. He placed fourth at the conference championship this season, shooting a 145 (75-70). For the season, he has averaged a 73.6, ranking second among the Rangers.

Hurley garnered his first career all-conference award after shooting a 149 (77-72) to finish in a tie for sixth place. For the season, he has averaged a 77.1 per round.
