Both the men's and women's cross country teams placed third in points at the Richard Stockton NJAIAW/Osprey Open. Steven Monteleone led all Rangers by placing sixth overall in the men's meet while Sarah Morris took 12th for the women. With six teams in each event, Drew finished in the top half for both sides. Nearly every Ranger posted their best 6K time of the season at the meet.
Four Rangers placed in the Top 25 for the men to tie for third overall in points. Monteleone shaved seven seconds off his previous best 6K time this season by posting a 21:08.34 to take sixth place among scoring participants. Zack Mower placed 11th as he cut 1:05 off his previous best 6K with a 21:34.24. Maxwell Rich was the third Ranger across the line in 16th place. His 22:23.79 shaved over two and a half minutes off his collegiate 6K personal best. Junior Andrew Ehlert was the fourth Rangers to place in the Top 25. Katherine Cross continued her good form of late by placing 14th overall, one spot ahead of Ashley Walker in 15th. Carley Thompson had one of her best performances of the season by placing 24th and improving by over one minute from her 6000 from earlier this season. Angela Vitellaro knocked six minutes off of her 6K time and Erica Cannedy pulled in right behind Vitellaro for 33rd place.
The women took third behind the hosts, Stockton, and Ocean County College. The Rangers were well ahead of fourth place Rutgers-Camden.
