Foil is Strong Point at Drew Invitational

MADISON, N.J. (November 22, 2010) - Men's Fencing came away victories against Army and NJIT in the foil this weekend at the annual Drew Invitational. The Women nearly out-dueled NJIT and the University of Maryland, falling 15-12 to the Highlanders and 16-11 to the Terps.

Leading the way for the men in the foil was sophomore Dillon Feigenbaum (Commack, N.Y./Commack) who was 5-4 on the weekend.

On the women's side, Emilia Domanowski (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) went 6-3 on the day, posting the best record among Rangers Sabreists. Domanowski took all three bouts against the University of Maryland. Melissa Mascarenhas (Linden, N.J./Linden) also enjoyed success against the Terps, winning all three matches in the foil, finishing with 4-5 record on the weekend.

The Rangers will not compete until after the New Year when both teams travel to Temple University for the Philadelphia Invitational on January 23.
