The Drew University women's soccer and field hockey teams are in action on Wednesday when compete in the Landmark Conference playoffs. Field hockey will be home against Scranton and women's soccer will be on the road against Juniata.

Do-Over: The Rangers and Eagles will meet for the second time in five days after a 3-0 win by Juniata in the regular season finale on Saturday. Juniata scored all three goals in the final 23 minutes of the contest. Eagle senior Paula Pryor scored the first goal and assisted on the second to earn Landmark Conference Player of the Week honors.
Offensive Fireworks: Drew senior Liz Loiodice and Pryor lead the Landmark Conference with 15 goals each. The Rangers and Eagles are two of the top three goal scoring offenses in the Landmark Conference. Juniata is scoring 2.94 goals per game while Drew has scored 2.35 goals per game this season.
Playoff History: Drew and Juniata met in the 2010 Landmark Conference playoffs in Madison where the Rangers came away with a 3-1 victory. The win landed the Rangers in their first ever Landmark Conference Championship game. It also marked the last time the Eagles have made a Landmark Conference playoff appearance.
Home-Field Advantage: The Eagles have won three of the four all-time matchups against Drew in Huntingdon. The Rangers on the other hand have never lost to Juniata at home, holding a 4-0 advantage at Ranger Stadium.

Game Notes
Regular Season Thriller: Back on October 26th in Scranton, the Rangers escaped with a 5-4 victory thanks to the second goal of the day by sophomore Sam Barcia with 2:11 remaining in the game. The Rangers erased a 3-2 halftime deficit, outscoring the Royals 3-1 in the second half.
Drew Playoff Path: For the first time since entering the Landmark in 2007, the Rangers locked up the #1 overall seed with a 4-2 victory over Juniata on Saturday. Barcia and senior Brooke Gagliano each scored twice to power the Ranger offense.
Semifinal Success: Drew has eliminated Scranton in overtime the past two seasons in the conference semifinals. Last season Gagliano scored 3:09 into overtime, propelling the Rangers to their second-straight conference championship game.
Outranked: The Rangers slid up to #18 in the latest Penn Monto / NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll. The Rangers have been ranked for the last six weeks and have got as high as #16 back on October 8th.
All-Tied Up: Barcia tied the school record on Saturday for goals in a season with 27. One more goal will break a 27 year-old record set by Lorraine Maloney C'89. Senior Danielle Waleko registered three assists, tying the school mark for assists in a game. It was the second time she recorded three assists in a game.
