MADISON, N.J. (Nov. 4, 2014) – The Drew University men's and women's soccer teams hit the road this week for Landmark Conference Championship semifinal matches. The women's team earned the No. 4 seed by virtue of winning its season final over Moravian, earning the right to face top-seeded The Catholic University of America. The men are the No. 3 seed by way of a 5-2-1 record and take on No. 2 The United States Merchant Marine Academy.
The women's semifinal is on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 2:30 p.m.

Women's Soccer Head coach
Christa Racine leads the Rangers (6-11, 3-4 Landmark) into their third straight conference championship tournament. Drew won its second conference title in program history as the No. 3 seed in 2013. The Rangers dropped back-to-back 5-0 decisions to Elizabethtown College and The University of Scranton before beating Moravian College, 1-0, in a Win-and-In opportunity on the final day of the regular season on Saturday.
The Cardinals (13-1-3, 6-0-1) defeated Drew, 4-0, in their regular season matchup at Ranger Stadium on Oct. 11. The Landmark Championship game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 8 at the location of the highest remaining seed. No. 3 The University of Scranton visits No. 2 Elizabethtown College in the other semifinal on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.

Emma Campbell, a junior forward, has missed the last two games with an injury. She has seven goals and two assists to lead Drew's offense during the regular season. Junior midfielder
Mel Santos' fourth goal of the 2014 campaign propelled the Rangers into the playoffs as the lone goal in their playoff-clincher against Moravian.

Andee Higgins picked up the win and shutout between the pipes against Moravian on Saturday. She owns a 2-3 record with two shutouts, a 1.41 goals-against average and 36 saves this season. Junior
Sara Nash went 3-8 with two shutouts, a 1.79 goals-against average and 74 saves during the regular season.
Men' Soccer Head coach
Lenny Armuth returns his Rangers to the postseason after missing their league tournament last fall for the first time since 1997. The Rangers (9-5-5, 5-2-1) and the Mariners (10-7-1, 6-2) both had their fair share of overtime games this season, including one against each other, a USMMA 2-1 victory in double-overtime on Oct. 22 at Ranger Stadium.
The winner will advance to the Landmark Championship game on Saturday, Nov. 8 at the home of the highest remaining seed. No. 4 Goucher College visits No. 1 The Catholic University of America in the other semifinal on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
Drew was 1-1-5 in its seven overtime matches this fall, while the Mariners went to extra time in eight games with a 3-4-1 record.

Benjamin Audi emerged as a top scoring threat for the Rangers this season, recording a team-high 13 points on four goals and five assists. Senior midfielder
John Nogiewich was tied for the team lead in goals with four, including his two against Moravian in a 4-2 victory that ensured the club's No. 3 seeding in the Landmark Championships. The senior captain added three assists during the regular season.

Eduardo Martinez was another rookie stepping up to score during his first collegiate campaign with three goals and an assist. Defender

Michael Reyes has played every minute for Drew between the posts in 2014, posting league-leading marks of nine shutouts, a 0.79 goals-against average and a .838 save percentage. With at least one game remaining in his illustrious career at Drew, he ranks second in the record books with a 0.78 career goals-against average and fifth in career shutouts with 26.
