The Drew University men's basketball senior class enjoyed tremendous success over the last four years under Head Coach
Darryl Keckler.
The team shattered the school record for wins with 23 victories in 2018-19. The squad also earned the No. 1 seed in the Landmark Conference playoffs that season before reaching the conference championship game - both program-firsts. One year later, as seniors this group of four helped the Rangers post just the second 20-win season in program history, going 21-7. For their career, they posted a 71-39 record - including a 44-14 mark over the last two years - along with three Landmark Conference playoff berths and three ECAC playoff appearances.
Individually, point guard
Riley Collins rewrote the Drew record book and finished as the program's all-time leading scorer with 1,949 points while collecting a bevy of awards and records throughout his spectacular four-year career.
Michael Boice,
Cole Hanntz, and
Brian Oehme also played major roles in the Rangers' success.
"This senior class has taught me so much about hard work, commitment, but most of all, about caring," said Keckler. "Riley, Mike, Cole, and Brian represent who we want our basketball players to be. They care about their teammates and coaches and never failed to think about the group above themselves. They will have a lasting impact on Drew Basketball."
