The All-Landmark Conference Teams are nominated and voted upon by the conference's 10 head coaches.
Â
Rider turned in a stellar rookie campaign this fall, posting 17 points on five goals and seven assists. Starting all 17 games, she tied for third among the Rangers in goals, led the team in assists, and was second in points. She scored two goals in a 3-2 win over Neumann and posted one goal and one assist versus Manhattanville, Susquehanna, and Juniata. Rider is the first freshman at Drew to earn All-Landmark Conference honors in field hockey since Michele Pozyc C'18 in 2014.
Â
Melone enjoyed a strong senior campaign, starting every game and helping the Rangers hold seven opponents to just one goal while shutting out two others. She led the team in defensive saves with five, including two versus Susquehanna. Melone also contributed offensively, scoring one goal on a penalty stroke in a 6-3 Landmark Conference win over Lycoming while also posting one assist.
Â
Jackson wrapped up an impressive career with a strong senior season. In her third year as a starter, she played all but 15 minutes in goal and posted career-bests in both goals-against average (2.22) and save percentage (.770). She recorded a pair of shutouts, making four saves in a 3-0 win over Manhattanville and two stops in a 1-0 victory at Goucher. Versus Stevens, she made a career-high 22 saves – a mark that ranks fourth in school history – and she reached double figures in saves in five additional games. For her career, Jackson finished ninth all-time at Drew with 337 saves.
Â
The Rangers finished the season 7-9 and 3-6 in the Landmark Conference, ending with the team's most conference victories and highest conference winning percentage since the 2013 campaign.
