2023 Field Hockey Schedule
MADISON, N.J. – Coming off its winningest season in nine years, the Drew University field hockey team has announced its 2023 schedule.

The Rangers will play 18 regular-season games, including 10 in the newly-surfaced Ranger Stadium.

A noticeable change to this year's schedule is the addition of two new Landmark Conference opponents – Lycoming and Wilkes – will increase the number of conference games to nine.

Under second-year Head Coach
Summer Washburn, Drew kicks off its new campaign Sept. 1-2 with the annual Drew Fall Festival, taking on Virginia Wesleyan on Sept. 1 at 6 p.m. in its season opener. The Rangers will close out the tournament on Sept. 2 when it takes on cross-town rival FDU-Florham at 2 p.m.

Rounding out the team's non-conference schedule will be Manhattanville, Neumann, Bryn Athyn, Widener, Stevens, and Delaware Valley.

Drew opens Landmark Conference play at home versus Susquehanna on Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. In other Landmark Conference action, the Rangers will host Catholic, Moravian, Scranton, and Lycoming while visiting Juniata, Elizabethtown, Goucher, and Wilkes.

The Rangers finished 7-9 last season, marking the team's highest victory total since the 2013 squad went 16-4. In addition, the team won a pair of Landmark Conference games to finish with the squad's most conference victories since the 2014 season.
