Blue Jay Tune-Up Results
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. and PHILADELPHIA – The Drew University men's track & field team competed at the Elizabethtown College Blue Jay Tune-Up on Friday and Saturday while four Rangers also made Drew's debut at the prestigious Penn Relays on Friday.
On Friday, the Rangers competed in the "College Men's 4x100 Eastern (Heats)" at the Penn Relays. Freshmen

Adian Hanson,
Grailin Simmons, and
Jeff Ayeh-Datey clocked a time of 44.26 to place fifth in their heat, beating out Kean University, while finishing 18th among a mix of 21 Division I, II, and III schools.
Several throwers also competed at Elizabethtown on Friday while the majority of the team was in action at Etown on Saturday. Elizabethtown will be the site for next weekend's Landmark Conference Championships, to be held on Saturday and Sunday.
Two Rangers earned runner-up honors, including Ayeh-Datey, who came within four hundredths of a second of winning the 200. He crossed the line in 22.66 to beat 22 competitors in the event while also placed fourth in a field of 36 in the 100-meter dash, clocking a time of 11.29 in the final.
Also posting a second-place finish out of 26 competitors was freshman
Zach Mogambi in the shot put with a throw of 45 feet, 9 3/4 inches. He also came in fourth out of 20 throwers in the hammer (116-3), was 11th in a field of 31 in the javelin (124-8), and 13th among 31 competitors in the discus (104-8).
Placing third were Hanson in the 200 (22.78) and Richardson in the high jump (5-8 1/2). Meanwhile, junior
Ricky Ruto Talam placed sixth in a field of 33 in the 800-meter run (2:02.91), as did Hanson in the 100-meter dash (11.18) and junior
Mike Borrelli in the javelin (147-1). Freshman
Carl Adolphe contributed an eighth-place performance in the discus (111-3), and he was also 10th in both the hammer (116-3) and shot put (36-7).
Freshman
Thomas Edwards finished in the top half of his event with a 14th-place finish in a field of 42 in the 1,500-meter run (4:17.06), as did sophomore
Dylan Crain in the 800 (16th, 2:11.70).
