COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Junior
Zach Mogambi and the 4x800-meter relay team competed for the Drew University men's track & field team at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships on Thursday at Ursinus College.
Mogambi turned in a stellar performance in the discus, placing second out of 21 competitors. He launched a throw of 49.58 meters (162-8), his second-best mark of the season, and finishing behind only Isaiah Brunache of SUNY Cortland (51.65m/169-5). Mogambi is currently ranked 32nd in Division III in the event, one day before the NCAA announces its field for the Division III Outdoor Championships. The top-22 declared athletes will advance to the national meet.
Mogambi scored all eight of Drew's points with her performance, earning the Rangers a 27th-place finish among 48 teams that scored a point.

Chris Tocci, and senior
Dylan Crain were timed at 8:21.94, placing 17th while chipping 1.66 seconds from the previous school record set this past Friday at the Ramapo Last Chance Meet. Edwards opened with a 2:04.36 split while Ellis followed with a 2:04.49. Tocci was timed at 2:08.31 before Crain notched a 2:04.79 anchor leg in his final collegiate race.
