MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University men's fencing team concluded its 2024-25 season on Saturday at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Region Championship, hosted by Drew in the Simon Forum.
A total of 12 members of Drew's men's team qualified for the highly-competitive event, which featured some of the top performers in all of college fencing.
Drew was serving as the host of the event for the second year in a row.
In epee, junior
Will Morton finished 3-3 in the opening round, beating fencers from Wagner, Haverford, and Johns Hopkins to finish 32nd. Junior
Gabriel Leone and freshman
JP Emmert each went 2-4 to place 36th and 37th, respectively, while seniors
Zack Zukofsky (41st) and
Danny Stevens (44th) were each 1-5.
A member of the foil team, freshman
Andrew Klyczek, also posted a 3-3 mark, defeating opponents from Haverford, Wagner, and Stevens to place 32nd overall. Junior
Henri Degremont went 2-4 to place 36th while senior
Tristan Santulli (39th), senior
Aidan Montalbine (41st), and freshman
Paul Greenleaf (42nd) all went 1-5.

Jason Ahlman and sophomore
Logan Kleva each competed in sabre, going 0-6 to place 40th and 43rd, respectively.
