COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Three members of the Drew University men's indoor track & field team competed at the Collegeville Classic, hosted by Ursinus College, on Sunday.
 
Junior Aidan Riccardo had a busy day for the Rangers, competing in four different events. In his top performance, he finished eighth among 18 competitors in the shot put with a toss of 9.65 meters (31-8). He also placed fourth in the pole vault (3.05m/10-0), fifth in the 60-meter hurdles (9.28), and eighth in the long jump (5.05m/16-7).
 
Also in the pole vault, sophomore Owen Browne placed second with a clearance of 1.65 meters (12-11 1/2).
 
Junior Grailin Simmons was also in action and placed second in the high jump (1.65m/5-5) and fifth in the long jump (5.46m/17-11).
 
The Rangers continue their season on Saturday, Jan. 31, when they travel to the Alvernia University PLEX Shootout.
