MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women's fencing team defeated Rutgers University 15-12 in its final regular season event of the season on Saturday at the Simon Forum.
 
The sabre team led the way for the Rangers, winning 7-2. Freshman Sabrina Holmes and Ava Insinga each finished 3-0 on the day.
 
The Scarlet Knights edged Drew 5-4 in both epee and foil. In epee, senior Bella Hatzoglu went 2-1 while sophomore Alisha Bourhill-Tumser went 2-0- in foil.
 
The Rangers return to action next Saturday, when they host the NIWFA Championships.
