TOWSON, Md. – Senior goalie Sawyer Kennedy has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week.
 
Kennedy posted an 11.79 goals-against average and a .500 save percentage in a 1-1 week for the Rangers. In a 14-3 win over Juniata, he made 10 saves over 51 minutes of play. He recorded six of his stops in the second quarter, helping his team to a 5-2 halftime advantage. He also stopped 12 shots in a loss to Elizabethtown.
 
For the season, Kennedy has accumulated a 9.76 goals-against average and a .509 save percentage, collecting 84 saves while posting a 6-5 record.
 
The Rangers (7-7, 4-4 LC) play their regular-season finale on Wednesday, when they visit the University of Scranton at 5 p.m. in a Landmark Conference matchup.
