From his center back position, Pezzuti was an integral part on both the defensive and offensive side of the ball in two victories this weekend at the Scarlett Raider Classic. On the defensive end, the Rangers pitched a pair of shutouts and have not allowed a goal in the last 257 minutes of play. On Sunday against Hunter, the Rangers allowed only one shot on goal. On offense, Pezzuti recorded his first point of the season with an assist against DeSales. He was credited with the game-winner on Sunday heading in his first goal of the season. For his efforts he was named to the Scarlet Raider Classic All-Tournament Team and was the Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
