Women Solid On Landmark's First Day

Drew women's swimming had a strong opening day at the Landmark Conference Championships. The Rangers finished the day in fifth place after 12 events, six for each side. The men are in sixth place.

The women began the day by taking a solid fourth place in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. Kati Eggert opened the relay with a 26.82 before Alexssa Todd posted a great 25.88 time in the second leg. Margaret Glover's 28.55 and Selena Davis' 27.11 helped the Rangers pull in at 1:48.36, just .54 in front of Juniata for the 22 points.

Jasmine Prokscha grabbed two points by finishing 11 in the 500 Free. Eggert placed fifth in the 50 Free for 10 points while Todd took eighth in that event for five points. The women's team then took fifth in the 400 Medley.
