Madison, N.J. (February 24, 2014) -- The Drew University men's lacrosse team has moved their opening game of the season from Ranger Stadium, to the campus of FDU-College at Florham.
Due to the total accumulation of snow the teams have agreed to move the game from the campus of Drew University, up the road to rival FDU. The game will start at its scheduled time, 7:00 p.m. on its originally scheduled day, Wednesday February 26.
The men's lacrosse team looks to continue its recent run of success over the Devils and retain the Madison Cup. Drew holds the overall series lead 18-14 and have not lost to the Devils since 2007.
Last season the Rangers defeated the Devils, 15-11 in their season opener.
Andrew Somps (East Lyme, Conn./East Lyme) led the returing Rangers scoring two goals. Seniors
Mark Barus (Jacobstown, N.J./Notre Dame) and
Mike Marone (Morristown, N.J./Delbarton) each added a goal for Drew in the victory.
