SELINSGROVE, Pa. (April 30, 2014) – The Drew University men's lacrosse team is the No. 4 seed in the Landmark Conference Tournament and will travel to top-seeded Susquehanna University in the semifinals today at 3 p.m.
When the two teams met earlier this year, Susquehanna (9-7, 5-1 Landmark) topped the Rangers (5-9, 3-3) with a 17-4 victory. The Crusaders jumped out to the 6-0 lead through the first quarter and kept the pressure on to win the regular season contest. Susquehanna's Austen Lein, the 2014 Landmark Conference Player of the Year, and Chet McLaughlin tallied three goals apiece to pace the Susquehanna scoring.
That game occurred seven weeks ago, and Drew has since turned around its season by wrapping up conference play with two wins to lock up a spot in the playoffs.
The Rangers are making their fifth Landmark playoff appearance under 2014 Landmark Conference Coach of the Year

The winner of Drew and Susquehanna will take on the winner of No. 2 The University of Scranton and No. 3 Goucher College at the home of the highest remaining seed on Saturday, May 3 at a time to be announced after the championship matchup is set.
