MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University men's swimming & diving team competed in the opening night of the Landmark Conference Virtual Championships on Friday in F.M. Kirby Pool.
The championships are being held at four different sites - Catholic, Drew, Juniata, and Scranton. After the diving events are held next weekend, the results of the championships will be merged and team champions will be announced the week of March 8.
Competing for the first time in over a year, the Rangers swam in five events. They kicked off the night, meet, and season in the 200-medley relay, as senior

Finn Armitt, and junior
Josh Roberts clocked a time of 1:33.86. In the very next event, Neal came within three seconds of his own school record, touching in 4:50.27.
Freshman
Luke Stevens was the only Ranger to swim in the 200-IM, and he was timed at 2:01.26. In the 50-freestyle, Roberts was Drew's top finisher, turning in a 21.94. The Rangers closed the night with the 800-freestyle relay, as Neal, senior

Drew closes out the swimming portion of the championships on Saturday, with sessions starting at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
