D3hoops.com Top 25
MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University men's basketball team has moved up three spots to No. 20 in the second D3hoops.com Top 25 regular-season poll of the 2025-26 season.
In the Rangers' lone contest last week, the squad went on the road to earn an 86-74 non-conference victory over St. Joseph's-Long Island, improving to 6-0 on the season.
Drew opened the season by winning its own tip-off tournament, starting with a 93-70 victory over Centenary (N.J.). The Rangers went on to record an 82-78 victory in the championship game over TCNJ, which was ranked No. 24 in the D3hoops.com Preseason Poll and is now ranked No. 19.
The Blue and Green improved to 3-0 with a 95-92 victory over Rowan University before opening Landmark Conference play with a pair of road victories. The Rangers edged the University of Scranton 78-75 in overtime before downing Juniata College 87-66.
The D3hoops.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, sports information directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly. Points are awarded on a 25-24-23-22-etc. basis.
Drew returns to Landmark Conference play on Wednesday, when it hosts Elizabethtown College at 7 p.m.
