All-Met Division III Men's Basketball Team

Eli Yusavage have earned a spot on the All-Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) Division III Team.
Both players were first-time All-Met selections. Musial captured a spot on the second team while Yusavage garnered honorable mention,
The pair become the eighth and ninth Rangers in team history to capture All-Met honors, and Drew has now had at least one All-Met selection every year since the 2017-18 season.
The MBWA includes all Division I, II and III institutions in the New York Metropolitan area. First, Second and Third Teams were selected in each division for both men and women.
There are 36 colleges and universities and more than 500 players under the MBWA Division III men's umbrella. The 2025-26 All-Met teams will be honored at the 93rd MBWA Haggerty Awards dinner on Thursday, April 23, at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel and Conference Center in Tarrytown, N.Y. The Haggerty dinner is the longest running media-managed college basketball awards program in the United States.
It was the second postseason honor for both Musial and Yusavage, who were also selected to the All-Landmark Conference Team. Musial earned first-team recognition and his third straight Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year Award while Yusavage landed second-team honors.
Musial posted a tremendous all-around season in which led the Rangers in a number of statistical categories, including rebounding (8.3 rpg), steals (2.5 spg), and blocked shots (0.5 bpg). Among the conference leaders, he finished second in both rebounding and steals, and he also finished 28th in Division III in steals.
Musial also made a major impact for the Rangers at the offensive end and led the team with 3.1 assists per game to finish eighth in the Landmark Conference. He was also third in the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.1). In addition, he tied for third on the team in scoring, averaging 10.9 points per game.
Throughout the season, Musial posted six double-doubles and scored in double figures on 12 occasions. In his top performance of the season, he scored a career-high 30 points while also posting 14 rebounds, eight assists, and four steals in a 107-93 victory at Lycoming. He took over the game late for the Rangers and netted 20 of his points in the final eight minutes while scoring 12 straight points for Drew at one point.
Musial posted three additional 20-point games for the Rangers, and he grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds in the team's home victory over Lycoming. He was a three-time selection to the MBWA Weekly Honor Roll, and he was also chosen as the Landmark Conference Player of the Week after his performance at Lycoming.
For his career, Musial finished among Drew's all-time leaders in steals (third, 206), rebounds (fifth, 734), blocked shots (11th, 65), and assists (15th, 240) while also scoring 809 points. He played in all 105 games for the Rangers over his four-year career while starting 80 straight contests over the last three years.
Yusavage established himself as the team's top scoring threat this past season. Playing in and starting 23 games, he averaged a team-leading 16.9 points per game, good for ninth in the Landmark Conference. He finished second on the team in 3-pointers made with 59 and was second among the conference leaders in 3-point field-goal percentage (40.7%) and third in 3-pointers made per game (2.8). In addition, Yusavage finished the season second on the team in assists (2.4), and eighth in the Landmark Conference in free-throw percentage (81.1%).
Yusavage reached double figures in scoring in all but two games this past season, highlighted by a career-high 30-point performance in the team's victory at Susquehanna in its regular-season finale. That showing earned him the Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week award and a spot on the MBWA Weekly Honor Roll. He scored over 20 points in seven additional games, including a 27-point outburst in a 79-76 overtime victory at Scranton in which he also shot 6-for-10 from 3-point range. Yusavage also scored 23 points in a victory over Goucher and dropped 22 points versus Catholic in a game played at the Palestra. In addition, Yusavage distributed seven assists in the home win over Lycoming and grabbed eight rebounds in a victory at Goucher.
Musial and Yusavage guided the Rangers to another tremendous season once again this past season. The helped Drew to a 19-7 record and a 13-5 mark in conference play, good for a second-place finish in the Landmark Conference regular season standings and the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament. It was the third year in a row that the Rangers finished among the top-two in the conference.
