TOWSON, Md. – Sophomore forward Matthew Zenker has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week.
 
Zenker averaged 22.0 points per game while shooting 63.0% from the field and 50.0% (8-for-16) from 3-point range in a 2-0 week for the Rangers, who remain undefeated in Landmark Conference play. He opened with a career-high 27 points on 11-of-14 shooting, including 5-for-8 marksmanship from 3-point range, over 21 minutes of action in Drew's 95-67 victory at Scranton. He followed up with 17 points and five rebounds over 20 minutes off the bench in the Rangers' 93-62 win over Lycoming. He scored nine straight points in the final 1:17 of the first half versus the Warriors, helping turn a two-point lead into an 11-point halftime advantage.
 
For the season, Zenker has averaged 11.9 points per game – fourth among the Rangers. He is also third on the team in field-goal percentage (52.5%) and second in blocked shots (12).
 
The Rangers (16-3, 12-0 LC) return to action on Wednesday, when they host Moravian University at 7 p.m. in another Landmark Conference affair.
