MADISON, N.J. - For the second time in three years, the Drew University men's basketball team has earned the No. 1 seed in the Landmark Conference (LC) tournament and will host Juniata College in the conference semifinals on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
The Rangers (4-1, 4-1 LC) will open the postseason at home for the third year in a row when they face the Eagles (3-5, 3-5 LC) in Baldwin Gym. Drew swept the season series from Juniata, winning 72-69 in overtime on Feb. 19 and 68-65 at home on Feb. 21.
With a victory on Wednesday, Drew would host the winner of the other semifinal between second-seeded Scranton and No. 3 Catholic in the championship on Saturday at a time to be determined.
