Collegiate women's lacrosse and field hockey are often linked by athletes who compete in both sports. Perhaps no woman excelled in this dual role more successfully than Bonnie Ethridge Beneducci.

During her four years at Drew, Bonnie helped the teams compile a 104-39-3 (.723) record. Each squad competed in a national final four and won several MAC championships. A three-year field hockey and two-year lacrosse team captain, Bonnie led by example.

She was named a First Team AII-MAC Athlete in both sports in 1987. That year Bonnie was also a regional All-American and the All-South Jersey College Player of the Year in field hockey. More honors followed in 1988 when Bonnie was named the All-South Jersey Offensive Player of the Year in lacrosse. Closer to home, Drew recognized her accomplishments and presented her the prestigious Harry Simester Character Award.

Bonnie left her mark in the Drew record books. At the time of her Hall of Fame induction, she ranked in the top 10 in goals, assists, and points in both field hockey and lacrosse. She graduated as the all-time career leader for ground balls with 358.
