The recipient of 10 varsity letters, Judy Cavalli Cromwell left her mark on the Ranger record books. In lacrosse alone she graduated with as many as 14 school records and helped elevate both the field hockey and women's lacrosse teams to national prominence during her career.

In field hockey, Cromwell's skill helped the team to a four-year record of 51-17-3 and the program's first-ever trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament in 1983, following a school-record of 19 wins. She scored 13 goals and added 13 assists in her career, for 39 points. Her 13 assists record was the second-highest total in school history when she graduated and is currently tied for ninth all-time.

In lacrosse, Cromwell led the team to a four-year record of 38-17, including a 14-1 mark in 1985, when the Rangers advanced to the NCAA Division III semifinals. She scored a school-record 185 goals and dished out 39 assists in her career to finish as the all- time leading scorer with 224 points.

She was named a Regional All-American in field hockey in 1982 and earned Brine/IWLGA All-American honors in lacrosse in 1985. She led the 1983 field hockey team to its first MAC title, while guiding the 1984 and 1985 lacrosse teams to MAC championships.

Cromwell earned the Senior Female Athlete of the Year Award in 1985 when she served as a team captain for the field hockey, women's basketball, and women's lacrosse teams. She returned to Drew in 1986 as assistant field hockey coach, a post she would hold for two years.
